OVERVIEW
Golden Tears is an interactive installation exploring vulnerability through physical touch, facial movement and generative visuals. A p5.js game responds to real time facial gestures and spatial behaviour, while Arduino-based touch interactions activate a series of glowing sculptural forms.
THE EXPERIENCE
Visitors interact with a digital environment through facial movement, spatial distance and physical touch. Their actions gradually transform the visual world while activating the sculptural installation.
Translucent parchment forms were built around embedded LEDs and Arduino based capacitive touch sensors. Exposed red wiring was intentionally retained as part of the visual language, referencing a fragile nervous system.
